If you are a registered user of Enigma 2.0 do not use this limited DES version of Enigma 2.1 on your full DES vaults.
If you don't get the new icons right away you should rebuild your desktop by rebooting and holding down the option and command keys simultaneously until your Mac asks you if you want to rebuild the desktop.
If you have been using Enigma 2.1 and are downloading 2.1a to fix the file type problem you have two approaches to getting things running smoothly again. First if you have a file typer program, change all your encrypted files which are of type 'crp2' to a type of 'crp1'. If the previous sentence didn't make any sense then don't worry about it, and just decrypt and then re-encrypt the files using Enigma 2.1a and all will be as it should be. Vaults are unaffected by the bug and do not need any special care.
Notice to registered users: The bug fixed in 2.1a could potentially have looked like a data loss problem. If you originaly had a file encrypted with the limited DES version of enigma that accidently got tagged as a full DES file and then tried to use the full DES version of Enigma to decrypt it you will get a message saying the output file can't be created or a bad key was entered. You should either decrypt such a file using the limited DES version of enigma or change its file type from 'crp2' to 'crp1'. Apologies for the inconvenience.
